AN ENGINEER AND A COOK (Dr Teslime Mahmutoglu):
Cooking and baking courses are given by an experienced food engineer and also a cook: Teslime Mahmutoğlu. She has graduated from Middle East Technical University-Ankara (Turkey) and she has also made Master's Degree and pH.D on food science and engineering. ☺Please contact for details: Teslime's e-mail.
 
She has a book on cooking and baking, published in 2007; 440 pages, contains over 400 recipes, where all are pictured with preparation steps.
She has cooking and baking experience since about 20 years.
☺She basicly experienced in Mediterranean Cuisine
☺She has taken many courses on cooking; some examples:
June 2008: 2 weeks, whole day, active course: “advanced cooking and baking”, in Italy.
June 2006: 1 month active course in a pub chain (Divan) in Istanbul (Turkey).

She has a collection of cooking books (over 100), which consists of books from very different countries. She also has a considerable collection of cooking periodical magazins from Turkey, Switzerland and France.
She is fluent in English and also speaks French and some Polish.
Upto now, she visited over 40 countries ☺☺She is living in Warsaw (Poland), since 1993 and half time in Istanbul.

She mainly worked on food safety and hygiene, quality and safety management systems (ISO 9000, ISO 22000 and HACCP); both implementation and auditing. She also gives consultancy about menu designing to restaurants and food hygiene. She is a Cook and also is scientist!!!

She also has worked in the following sectors: package production (cardboard and flexible), packaged ready to eat meals production, olive oil production, scientific research on drying and freezing.

She has audited over 100 companies in Turkey, France, Poland, Latvia, Romania, Hungary, Cyprus, Azerbaijan; mainly food processing companies.

She audited companies from different food and packaging sectors: restaurants, hotels, holiday villages, meat processing, fish processing, vegetables processing, water, drinks production, bread production,..

She well knows about food processing, restaurant and catering establishments and package material production (both cardboard and flexible)

She is a member of Mediterranean Cooks Association (Turkey)
